This guy may not look like your typical rapper, but without a doubt he has more skill than most around. Dumbfoundead was born in Argentina, but moved to Los Angeles at a young age. It was there in L.A. that he found his love for music and his skill for the rhyme. Checking out his music portfolio here, and down below listen+download “Different Galaxies” – a track featuring Sam Ock with a nice groovy/laid-back/funky feel to it.

Tunji is a new artist breaking away from a hip-hop group to make it on his own. Formerly a member of Inverse, a Los Angeles hip-hop duo, Tunji plans to release his first solo album this year. Here at The NBS, we look to support emerging artists who understand hip-hop and respect its craft of lacing educated rhymes over picturesque beats, and Tunji certainly fits the mold. As a graduate of the highly acclaimed Pomona College, Tunji has developed the peerless skill of uniting care-free rhymes with more stoic, enlightened lines. Getting down to business, Tunji celebrated his birthday yesterday with the release of “Towards The Future,” featuring Deacon The Villain (Cunninglynguists). This track acts as the first single off his upcoming solo work expected Soon 2010.
